ELKO MOD NATIONALS

APRIL 26 & 27, 2013 (rain date April 27, 2013)

RACE RULES:

We will limit the number of entries if necessary, on a first come first serve basis. Pre-Entry checks may be post dated to the date of the race as we will be holding them until the date of the event. In the event a pre-registered driver is unable to make the race because of a crash, motor failure, or injury prior to the Elko Mod Nationals, a refund will be offered!

This is an unsanctioned event. However, all cars must declare what sanctioning body rules they would like to run under. All cars must adhere to either Wissota Midwest Mod, USRA B Mod, or IMCA Sport Mod Rules! No mixing of rules will be permitted! All cars will be run through tech prior to racing and will be marked with the sanctioning body of choice. Be prepared to be teched, as we will do everything we can to catch anybody cheating! We will have extra tech people on staff for this event.

RACE FORMAT: (Elko Mods, Hornets and Legends)

All cars will complete in two (2) 15 lap heat races on Friday night. All cars must draw for a random starting spot in their first heat race. The starting order for the second heat race will be a complete inversion of the finishing order of the first race. The combined finishing order of both heat races will set the starting fields for the Saturday night B-Mains. The entire field will be split in half by heat race finishes. The top half of the field will make up the top half of each 20 lap B-Main. The top half of each B-Main will be inverted by a single dice role plus three (3). The winner of the last heat race on Friday night will roll the dice for the B-Main inversion. The top finishing 24 cars in the B-Main will advance to the feature events. The starting line up for the A-Main Event will be set by a single dice roll plus six (6). Cars not making the feature events will be paid travel money, if they compete in Saturday B-Mains as follows: Elko Mods $75, Hornets and Legends $35.

For Elko Mods, Saturday A-Main event will be a 40 lap feature with a mandatory 10 minute pit stop on lap 20. We will start 24 cars. You will be able to do anything you want during the pit stop but must remain legal. We will allow push starting after pit stop if necessary but there will be a 2 position penalty for being push started.

Hornets and Legends will have a 25 lap A-Main Feature with NO pit stop.

PRACTICE:

We will be having hot laps at 5:30pm on April 26, 2013 and April 27, 2013.

ELKO MOD NATIONAL ENTRY FEE:($100 FOR ELKO MODS; $50 FOR LEGENDS AND HORNETS)
