ELKO! Racing Night

Our next NASCAR racing night at ELKO! is Saturday, July 31st. Come see exciting races in six different classes! The night will feature Legends, Bandoleros, and Midwest Mods. Late Models, Thundercars, and Power Stocks will also be running. Tickets are available online and at the gate on race day. General admission is $20, or save $5 by ordering online. Children’s admission ages 4-12 is always $5.
Bring the kids to help us paint one of our buses for the upcoming figure-8 races in the Eve Of Destruction. Make your mark and root for it the next time you’re at the races! Enjoy food and drink, lawn games, and help create a sidewalk chalk art gallery.
What will be there?
A mad scientist’s dream racecar, these cars zip around the corners with wild abandon! The Legends run modified motorcycle engines with old school design, trading two wheels for a more stable set of four.
Bandeleros Class
See the next generation of racers in their very own class! Drivers are between 8 and 14 years old, some getting to drive on the big asphalt for the first time this season. Watch as they earn their chops!
Midwest Modifieds Class
What if Frankenstein built racecars instead of monsters? They’d be Modifieds, of course! This new class of vehicles started in 2020 are always wild to watch.
Late Models Class
The cream of NASCAR here in our very own backyard! The field of drivers is the strongest around, some of them having recently competed in the ARCA Menards 250 right here at ELKO!
Power Stocks Class
Feel the rumble in your seats as these heavy duty racecars roar around the track! These blocky bruisers muscle their way around the asphalt like no other.
Thundercars Class
A crowd favorite! Greet them with a thundering of feet in the stands as these sleek vehicles zoom and weave around the track.
See our local heroes battle it out to the checkered flag as they speed around our 3/8 mile track. We’ll see you at the races!
