Full Speed Ahead for ARCA Menards 250 presented by Starkey At Elko Speedway
(Elko-New Market, MN) Race officials from the ARCA Menards Series, Track Enterprises, and Elko Speedway are moving full speed ahead for this weekend’s Menards 250 presented by Starkey at the 3/8-mile facility despite a less than perfect forecast for Saturday night. All efforts will be made to complete the event this weekend.
Officials will have more track drying equipment available for their use than any previous race in the track’s history. In addition to a jet dryer, an Air Titan has been secured to make any drying procedures move very quickly and speed up getting cars on track. Being that Elko Speedway is the shortest track on the ARCA Menards Series schedule, track drying time will go quickly when given a window to go racing.
If for any reason, Saturday night’s weather doesn’t allow for the event to take place, a rain date of Sunday, June 25 will be used with a 1:00 PM CT start.
The Menards 250 presented by Starkey will be the seventh race of 20 for the ARCA Menards Series in 2023. Saturday’s visit will be the ninth ARCA Menards Series race at Elko Speedway, dating back to 2012. Previous winners include Brennan Poole, Frank Kimmel, Grant Enfinger, Austin Theriault, Gus Dean, Chandler Smith, Corey Heim, and Sammy Smith. One of this year’s favorites is a local driver, William Sawalich, from nearby Eden Prairie, MN. Sawalich is coming off of his first ARCA Menards Series win at Berlin Raceway last weekend.

The ARCA Menards Series is heading to Elko Speedway’s 3/8-mile Saturday, June 24th. Three local classes will also be in action. Save big money by purchasing your discounted tickets at Menards. Tickets will also be available at the gate on race day as well as online at Details below…
