Double File Restarts will be reinstated for Super Lates and Big 8’s!

Double File restarts for the Big 8 and Super Late Model Divisions will be implemented this week (Saturday August 28th). To stay consistent with the other race divisions the following race procedure will be used.

Double File Restart Procedure

Once cars are single file and in correct running order, the flagman will signal for the double wide restart. The race leader will have the choice to go to the inside or outside, with the remaining cars following opposite of each other to fill

(Example: If the leader takes the inside, 2nd car goes to outside pole, 3rd car to inside of 2nd row, etc. OR if the leader takes the outside, 2nd car takes inside, 3rd car takes outside 2nd row, etc.)

Maximum of three (3) attempts at double file restarts will be made for all divisions. If unsuccessful the restart will be single file.

If the Race Director determines that double file restarts are not working. He may switch the restart to single file.

We will use this procedure for the remainder of the 2010 Season.

This new rule does not include Eve of Destruction RAW events.
